Whereas John Wilkins now of New Hanover County, but formerly of Bladen was possessed of 3 parcels of land containing 300 acres being ½ of a tract patented by John Forster and sold by him to William Morehead and others on 4 Nov. 1761 and afterwards possessed by John King who conveyed to Peter Mallett and James Porterfield who sold and conveyed the same to John Wilkins, bound to the northward by Mathew Byrne…patented by John King on the SW side of the NW River, on the upper edge of a small branch of Moore's Creek near about Jane Gale's upper line - 150 acres which was all conveyed by Peter Mallett and James Porterfield to John Wilkins, another tract patented by John King back of land possessed by Margaret Bryan including a cedar swamp that is in Goodman's Swamp…above lands levied upon by the Sheriff of Bladen County to satisfy the amount of judgement and cost obtained in the court of New Hanover County by Marshall R. Aquilla Norman of 1st part, Lenora, his wife of 2nd part - Jeremiah Norman of the 3rd part - whereas unhappy difference have lately arisen between Aquilla Norman and his wife Lennora, they have mutually agreed to live separate and apart from each other…and Aquilla for the separate use and maintenance of Leonnora his wife doth convey 1/3 of the proceeds of the rent of the plantation whereon the said Aquilla and Lenonnora lately resided… Witnesses: Mathew Laspyre, John Buie. Smith and David Lloyd solely for the accommodation of the said Ann McRee have become endorsers on a note of $1350. Ann McRee conveys to Alexander McDowell (in trust) the following property - eleven Negroes, also the plantation whereon she the said Ann McRee now lives, purchased by her deceased husband Robt. McRee from Alexander Foster on N E side of N W River joining lands of John Beard, Jeremiah Norman and William David formerly the land of Edward Harrison cont. 300 acres. Robert Baker and Jeremiah Norman - We the parties agree (line agreement) a 640 acre tract of land on South side of N W River which tract was granted by the state to a certain John Gause and by conveyance was owned and possessed by the father of said Robert Baker at the time of his death and the said Robt. Baker after the death of his father was one of the legal heirs to said tract and the said Robt. Baker and others conveyed by deed to Sam'l Gause…Some months afterwards Samuel Baker brother to said Robt., one of the legal heirs to said land conveyed part of said tract by deed to Geo. Weir…Robt.
