SAMUEL HARDWICK LAND GRANT NO 647

State of North Carolina. No. 647 To all to whom these presents shall come
greeting Know ye that we for and in consideration of the sum of fifty
shillings for every hundred acres hereby granted paid unto our treasury by
Samuel Hardwick have given and granted and by these presents do give and
grant unto the said Samuel Hardwick a tract of land Containing one hundred
acres lying and being in our County of Bladen on both sides of Pine log
Swamp beginning at a large W oak below Ann Tomlinsons line and running East
one hundred and Sixty nine pole to a small pine then ninety pole to a pine
in the edge of Pine log then West one hundred and Seventy nine pole to a
Stake then North ninety pole to the Beginning
       Pr patent dated the 23 rd of October 1782
