ABSTACT OF DEED
 
August 29, 1743:  Robert Mills of Bladen Co NC to Edward Stephens, planter, of 
Craven Co NC, for the sum of 200 lbs, 150 acres patented by Robert Mills on 
February 16, 1739, located on the south side of Nuce [Neuce] River and in the 
marshes above Mill Creek.

Abstracted by Dr. Stephen E. Bradley, Jr.

Additional Comments:
Robert Mills was apparently in Craven Co NC when he first purchased the land on 
February 16, 1739.  Bladen Co NC was established from New Hanover Co NC in 1734.  
He migrated southwest to Bladen Co NC, and was listed as a resident there when he 
sold the property on August 29, 1743.
