They have a great revival of Religion here at this time. Mary Eliza West has got converted and joined the church, there has been several other conversions and I think five have joined the Church I mean the baptist church, and one I think has joined the methodist and they think there were fifty morner down at one time to be prayed for. Conoly is here and they have meeting every night, but I have been engaged in my school and not attended one of the meetings since monday night. I expect however to attend them now until next monday night. I saw Mr. Sandy last sunday and have not seen him on any week day but I talked to him about your claim and he will not give a note for that amount but he told me that he would pay the Drs bill and whatever was right for your trouble and he thought you claimed too much, but he told me to write to you and tell you that he would go down as soon as possible after he could get out his first dipping of turpentine and would pay the Doctors bill and as much more as he could. He seemed very glad that you had paid the bill to the Dr for him. The information you asked about the cow is something I know nothing about except you hint, and do not know whither I will be able to find out any thing or not, for I do not know of whom to ask information, for I might hint in the rong place. I must come to a close for the bel has wrung and I must start to school and I do not know that there is any thing more that would interest you - so nothing more. Yours sincerely, L D Cain
