Nov. 1, 1826 North Carolina Journal November 1, 1826 STOP THE THIEF! Broke open and was taken from the store of the Subscriber, on the night of the 16th of September, about $18. A man by the name of JAMES PORT, sometime called JAMES GRAVES, is suspected of stealing the money; he is dark complecgted, a little mix-blooded, has a down look, has lost some of his fore- teeth, drinks freely, about 25 or 26 yers of age. He has left this county since the theft was committed. A reward of $5 will be given for the apprehension of the villian, so that he may be brought to justice. RIVER JORDAN Bladen County, N.
