Thurs. Nov. 24, 1859   North Carolina Argus November 24, 1859
   -- We learn that at last County Court, SHERIFF WILLIS, of Bladen County, 
made an offer to resign his office, but a majority of Justices not being 
present his resignation could not be resigned, and he, having neglected to 
give his bond, the office was declared vacant. Consequently Bladen County is 
without a sheriff, the Coroner by virtue of his office, acting in that 
capacity.
