Died

Rena L. Jowers, wife of Mr. T. P. Jowers at the residence of her parents, Mr. and 
Mrs. B. L. Daniels near Marlville, Bladen county, NC on the 18th day of April 
1889, aged 28 years 3 months and 27 days.

She was a member of Waymaw M. E. Church, a kind and dutiful daughter and 
affectionate wife, a devoted and loving mother. She approached her end without 
fear of the future, and left the happy consolation that she went home to rest; 
and let her bereaved ones comfort themselves that a new child is born among the 
immortals and a new member added to their family above.

Gone but not forgotten,
By her father, mother, sisters and brother,
And her husband, who loved her like no other,
And two little children who are left without a mother.
