   Mr. Robert Lashley, one of the oldest citizen of this place, died last Friday 
night.  He was about 73 years of age, a gallant Confederate soldier, and well liked

by all who knew him.  He was a member of the Presbyterian church.  The burial was in

the cemetery at the Presbyterian church here Saturday afternoon.
