THE RECORD OF DEATHS.

Mr. Dock McDowell, a Confederate Veteran of Elizabethtown.

   Mr. Dock McDowell, a Confederate veteran of Elizabethtown, died early 
yesterday morning at the Baker sanatorium. Deceased was brought to the 
sanatorium Saturday afternoon, his condition being critical when he arrived 
here.  He did not undergo an operation.  His widow and several children 
survive.  Interment was made yesterday at 4 p. m. in the Methodist church 
cemetery at Tar Heel.

NOTE:  Baker Sanitorium was located in Lumberton, Robeson Co NC.
