SUDIE C. RIDDLE

ST. PAULS – Sudie Carter Riddle, 85, died Friday. Funeral services were 
conducted at 5 p.m. Saturday at Bladen Union Church in Bladen County by the 
Revs. Charles Hester and Curtis Brisson. Burial was in the church cemetery.  
Surviving are one son, Durham Riddle of Hope Mills; three daughters, Mrs. 
Kathleen Greason and Mrs. Virginia Moore of St. Pauls and Mrs. Mary Sessoms of 
Carolina Beach, formerly of Lumberton; one brother, Jack Carter of St. Pauls; 
two sisters, Mrs. Mary Bain and Mrs. Mabel Council of St. Pauls; 8 
grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
