Edenton Gazette, Friday,  March 15, 1811
   DIED, on the 22nd of January, MRS. MARY SUTTON of Bladen County, aged 110 
years. She was a native of Culpepper, Va., and had five sons and seven 
daughters, all now living. Her descendants amount to 1,492. At 52, her 
eyesight failed her, but returned again at 76 as good as ever,and continued to 
98, then it failed again at her death. She  has been at the births of 1,121
