Lewis Senr. of the aforsaid county and state do make this my last will and testament in the manner and form following by: 1st I give and bequeath to Richard M. Lewis my family bible 2nd I give and bequeath to Edward Lewis a note which I hold against him 3rd I give and bequeath to David Lewis my negro man Ben Jr. to his heirs and assignes forever. Also all of my debts that are due me together with my crop, stock and provisions, husehold and kitchen furniture and tools of every description. Also Tom and Jerry durring the lifetime of my wife Martha Lewis and at her death it is my will and desire that Tom be equally devided between Richard M. Lewis Jr., Durrum Lewis, Edward Lewis, David Lewis, and Lucy Ann lesesane. Ahare and share alike. And that my grandson Richard Franklin Lewis son of David Lewis have Jerry and her increase after the death of my wife Martha Lewis. The cause of my not willing to my wife is my son David is to support her durring her life. I also give to my son David Lewis my compass chain and implements. 4th It is my will and desire that the property that I have given before to my children by deed go into effect at my death. 5th It is my will and desire that the balance of my estate be equally divided between Richard M. Lewis Jr., Durrum Lewis, Edward Lewis, David Lewis, Lucy Ann Lesesne and the heirs of my daughter Sarah Willis dec'd share and share alike. And lastly I do appoint my sons Edward and David Lewis, executors to this my last will and testament.
