The Pearl golf course, The 17th hole Cemetery
  Calabash, Brunswick Co, NC

Survey completed by a golfing acquaintance 4/15/02

Directions:

>From Ocean Isle Beach, in Brunswick Co, NC. Take Rt 179 to Rt 904 to
stoplight at Seaside.(Note CVS and gas station). Turn right onto 904
and take it approx. 1.5-2 miles to another stoplight.  Turn left at
light. Approx. 3 miles down the road, turn into the entrance to The
Pearl, (on the left).  Cemetery is located across from the Ladies tee
on the 17th hole of the East course. Approx. 100 feet off the road in
a wooded area. The cemetery is overgrown and some grave sites are sinking
into the ground. Easily Accessible by golf cart and foot.
