C., on the 2nd July, 1799, a Soldier by the name of JAMES MARLER, five feet seven inches in height, dark eyes, short black hair, thirty-eight years of age, born in Camden County, S. C. Had on when he went away, a full suit of regimental clothing. Any person apprehending said deserter and deliver him to me, or any other officer in the service of the United States will receive the reward of Ten Dollars.
