Gastonia, Feb. 8 - At the home near Paw Creek, Mecklenburg County, where she 
had lived ever since her marriage more than 50 years ago, Mrs. Margaret Dunn, 
mother of Mr. Charles M. Dunn of Gastonia, died Saturday night about 9 
o'clock, following a brief illness, aged 78 years. She is survived by one 
brother, Mr. Robert W. Gray, and two sisters, Mrs. J. Laban Smith and Miss 
Narcissa Gray, all of Gastonia; three sons and three daughters; Messrs. Lloyd, 
Leo and Alva Dunn, all living at the home place; Miss Letha Dunn, at home; 
Mrs. Viola Todd of Charlotte, and Mrs. Delia Campbell of Hoskins. Funeral 
services and interment took place Sunday afternoon at Pleasant Grove Methodist 
Church, of which she had long been a member. The pastor, Rev. Mr. Elliott, 
officiated.
