Buncombe County, NC - William May Family Record

William May, born 3 May, 1764 Essex Co. VA. He died March 4, 1844, place 
not listed, his parents unknown. William May lived in several states 
and various counties, one being Buncombe County, North Carolina.

His widow was Rhoda May. She was a resident of Polk Co., TN in 1844. 
In 1849 she was living in DeKalb Co., Ga. 

Their children taken from their family Bible were;

Orpah May, born May 6, 1784
John May, born January 13, 1786
Daniel May, born April 16, 1788
William May, born January 11, 1790
Ruth May, born October 8, 1792
Mary Ann May, born February 8, 1795
Asa May, born October 29, 1797
James May, born April 29, 1800
