The very next paved road on your left will be Queen Road (not always marked). The small plot is on the left hand corner just as you turn. Please note that the directions will probably change shortly due to expansion to Pisgah Highway changes the location of Pisgah Highway itself. Queen road will probably be off of 'Old Pisgah Highway.' LATITUDE/LONGITUDE Not known (USGS ENKA, NC) FIELD NOTES: 9/25/98 This site contains only 3 graves, but once contained 30 - 40 graves according to locals. Most of the graves were moved down the road to Montmorenci Church/Cemetery (353204N 082413W) in the 1930’s. It is unclear why these graves were not moved at the time except that 2 are infants. The BYRD is unrelated to the infants. This site is in terrible disrepair and at the dividing line between right-of-way and private property (the white house). This site is obscure and with so much construction in the area will probably not last long.
