Mon., April 16, 1807, Raleigh Minerva April 6, 1807
   At the late Superior Court of Buncombe County, JORDAN DELK and his son, 
RANDLE DELK were condemned to be hung. The son was charged with committing a 
murder, and the father with being an accessory. Petitions in favor of the 
father have been sent to GOVERNOR ALEXANDER, and the evidence against him 
being doubtful, we learn that his Excellency has granted a pardon.
