STELLA WEBB ARMSTRONG
SWANNANOA - Stella Webb Armstrong, 78, of Jims Branch Road, died 
Friday, Sept. 13, 2002 in a local health care facility. A native 
of Mitchell County, she was the daughter of the late Oscar C. and 
Esther Conley Webb, and wife of the late Guy Armstrong. She was 
retired from Farm Bureau Insurance Company and was a member of 
Grassy Branch Baptist Church in Asheville.
Survivors include a son, Guy Richard Armstrong of Swannanoa; two 
sisters, Virginia Cameron and Nina Moore; a brother, Oscar Webb 
Jr.; two grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Grace Funeral Home 
in Swannanoa. Rev. Luther Osmont officiated. Burial was in Green 
Hill Cemetery.
