Ball, 90, of Banks Creek, died Friday, March 28, 2003, in an Asheville hospital. A native of Yancey County, he was a son of the late Will and Essie Banks Ball. He was preceded in death by a sister, Essie Ball and a brother, Bill Ball. He was a retired employee of Glen Raven Mills. A native of Yancey County, he was a son of the late Will and Martha Boone Ball. He was a World War II Army veteran. Mr. Ball was a charter member and deacon of the Banks Creek Bible Church. Ben was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
