LOGAN Funeral Friday Funeral services for Mrs. Hattie Estella Logan will be held at 1 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Second Baptist church, Woodland. Mrs. Logan, a native of (Asheville) North Carolina, lived in Woodland for 59 years. She died Saturday (5 Feb 1949) in Oakland where she had been residing for the last three years. The deceased is survived by her husband, Alvin Logan, Sr., and ten children, Mrs. Addie Mae Molson and Mrs. Estella Earl, both of Woodland, and Miss Grace Logan, Mrs. Nellie Lewis, Mrs. Lorena Taylor, Alvin Logan, Jr., Booker Logan, Aaron Logan, Roderick Logan and Carver Logan; 13 grandchildren; a brother, John Clayton; five nephews, Jessie Keith, Woodland, and Miles Keith, Sherman Keith, Harold Keith and William Wright; a cousin, Mrs. Emma Hayes, Woodland. Mrs. Logan was 65 years of age. She had been in ill health for some time. The Rev. Ernest F. Marcell, pastor, will officiate. Pallbearers will be Ed Gaither, Harry Everett, James Longrus, Jasper Miller, Leland Gaither and John McCants. Burial will be in Woodland cemetery.
