                   THE EARTHQUAKE IS OVER!!
   DIED, in Asheville, Buncombe County, N. C., about three weeks ago, MR. JOHN 
CLARK EDWARDS, the celebrated inventor of the Buncombe and Burke County 
Earthquakes.
   "Tread lightly on his ashes, ye men of genius -- for he was your brother."
