Died

Mrs. W. D. Patton of Swannanoa died yesterday after a long illness. She was about 30

years of age and a member of the Piney Grove Presbyterian church and her funeral 
took place from that church this afternoon at 4 o'clock. Before her marriage to Mr.

Patton she was Mrs. Udora Hemphill. Mr. Patton is a brother-in-law of Police Captain

Frank Jordan.
