J. W. Roberts To Be Buried At His Home

Funeral services for J. W. Roberts, 86, who died yesterday morning at 2 
o'clock at the home of his daughter, Mrs. L. D. Penland, at Skyland, will be 
held this morning at Wrightsville, with burial in the family plot.
Mr. Roberts was on a visit to the home of his daughter when death came. His 
home was at Wrightsville, in the Swannanoa section.
Surviving are four sons, C. E. Roberts, Asheville; Marion Roberts, 
Wrightsville; Prentice Roberts, Oregon; Horace Roberts, Atlanta; and three 
daughters, Mrs. T. L. Penland, Skyland; Mrs. Nancy Clark, Fairview Road; and 
Mrs. J. W. Bruce, of Douglas, GA.
