He was sent up, along with Synvanus Morrow for killing Wm Crawsby, while they were all drunk. Morrow served only one year. He was pardoned by Governor Carr. Williams' pardon was recommended by the judge who tried the case, the solicitor who prosecuted, and the jury who convicted him. He is forty years old. He left yesterday afternoon for his home in the mountains.
