Death of Mr. E. F. Walker
  Mr. E. F. Walker, aged 68 years, a well known and good citizen of Burke, died
at his home, near Morganton, this morning.  Mr. Walker had been confined to his
home from ill health for about three years.  He reared a large family and they
are among the very best people of the county.  The remains will be interred at
Gillboa church to-morrow at 10 o'clock.
