This photograph is of my great grandmother Matilda Mckinney, daughter of 
Charles (Cove) Mckinney and Nancy Tripplet. Born in 1827 in McDowell County 
North Carolina/died in 1908 in Alexander County, Thebes, Ill. 

She was married to Jonah Allen Alny B. McFalls, who was born in Morgan 
District, Burke County, North Carolina and died in 1867 in Monroe County, Tenn. 

Matilda and Jonah (known to me as Alney) were married in 1844 in McDowell County.

Additional Comments:
We can not determine who Alny's father was, a good chance he was from Arthur or 
Durham McFalls, any input would be appreciated.
