Morganton, July 24 - Mr. Zebulon V. Shaw, of Asheville, and Miss Bessie Beck, 
of Morganton, were married this afternoon at the residence of Forest Berry, 
Esq., one mile east of Morganton on the Hickory road. The bride and groom 
leave at 5 o'clock for Salisbury, the old home of the bride-groom, who is now 
in business at Asheville. Rev. Mr. Wagg, pastor of the Morganton Methodist 
church, performed the ceremony. A number of friends of the groom came down 
from Asheville this morning to attend the wedding.
