(1) I give to my loving wife Nancy the use of my plantation where I now live hir lifetime As much thereof as will soport hir and after hir death to be eqully divided between my two sons William and Elijah Fair. (2) I give to my wife Nancy all my house and furniture and one Cow and Calf and at her Decese to go to my two daughters Polly and Betsey, Also to these two girls Betsey and Polly foure head now Cattle at present to them and their heirs for Ever. The family lived on Abingdon Fork of Lower Creek between Lenoir and Collettsville, NC. They first appear in the 1800 Burke County Census.
