CABARRUS COUNTY

RICHARD BRANDON
     VS.

 ELIJAH COTTON

Original Attachment, levied in the hand of PHILIP BARNHART and VALENTINE FAGOT 
and summoned as Garnishee

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the defendant. ELIJAH 
COTTON , is not an inhabitant of this State. It is therefore ordered by the 
Court that publication be made for three  successive weeks in the Raleigh 
Minerva that unless the said Defendant appears at our next Court of Pleas & 
Quarter Sessions to be held for the County of Cabarrus at the Court House in 
Concord on the 3rd Monday in April next and replevy  his property judgment 
will be  entered up against him according to the Plaintiff’s demands.
