Susannah Kiser, Rachel M. Kizer, Fanny Cheek et al

Petition for sale of Land

In this case, it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the 
defendant, Fanny Cheek reside beyond the limits of this State: It is therefore 
ordered by the Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the 
Charlotte Journal notifying said defendant non-resident to be and Appear at 
our next Court of Pleas & Quarter Sessions to be held for Cabarrus County at 
the Court House at Concord on the 3rd Monday in October next. 

Then and there to plead, answer or demur to this petition filed: Otherwise 
judgment will be taken pro confesso and the matter will be heard ex parte will 
be made as to them.
Witness R.W. Foard, Clerk of the said Court at office on the 3rd Monday in 
July AD 1848
