STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA  COURT OF EQUITY  CABARRUS COUNTY
Oct. Term, 1808
GEORGE MILLER and REGINA, his wife

Vs.

CONRAD PLYLER, JACOB PLYLER, PAUL PLYLER, MARY MOSSMAN, HENRY PLYLER, JACOB 
HOOVER and BARBARY, his wife

Bill in Equity

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that some of the defendants, 
CONRAD PHYLER, JACOB PLYLER, PAUL PLYLER, and MARY MOSSMAN, are not 
inhabitants of this State. It is therefore ordered by the Court that 
publication be made for three successive weeks in the Raleigh Minerva that 
unless the said Defendants appear at our next Court of Equity and plead or 
answer said bill, judgment will be taken pro confesso as to their part and 
heard ex parte.
