CABARRUS COUNTY
July Term, 1814

JOHN PINTER, ALEXANDER PATTERSON and JOHN PATTERSON

        VS.

THE REAL ESTATE OF ROBERT PATTERSON, deceased

Petition for Division of Lands

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the children of JAMES ROSS, 
in right of his wife, MARTHA, deceased, some of the defendants in this suit, 
are  inhabitants of the State of Tennessee. It is therefore ordered by the 
Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the Raleigh Minerva 
that unless the said Defendant appears at our next Court of Pleas & Quarter 
Sessions to be held for the County of Cabarrus at the Court House in Concord 
on the 3rd Monday in October next and plead answer or demur to this issue, 
judgment will be  entered up against him according to the Plaintiff’s demands.
