John S. Means, William Means, Charles T. Means, Susan wife of Samuel Lawing, 
Isaac N. Alexander, Adam A. Alexander, Charles T. Alexander, Margaret wife of 
Moses Alexander, William Means and John Means

Injunction

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that defendants, Marcus Means, 
Nathaniel Means, Mary, wife of Angus Johnson and Margaret, wife of Cornelius 
McRee reside beyond the limits of this State: It is therefore ordered by the 
Court that publication be made for six successive weeks in the Charlotte 
Journal notifying said defendant non-resident to be and Appear at our next 
Court of Equity to be held for Cabarrus County at the Court House at Concord 
on the 5th Monday after the 4th Monday in March, 1848. 

Then and there to plead, answer or demur to this petition filed: Otherwise 
judgment will be taken pro confesso and the matter will be heard ex parte will 
be made as to them.
Witness R.W. Allison, Clerk & Master of the said Court at office on the 5th 
Monday after the 4th Monday in September AD 1847
