Hector McCachran/McCahron - 1827 - Cabarrus County, NC - Deed Submitted for use in the USGenWeb Project Archives Cindy McCachern McCachern@worldnet.att.net Know all men by these presents that I Hctor McCachran of the county of Cabarrus and State of North Carolina for in consideration of the love and affection which I bear unto the congregation of Rocky river and in consideration of the graves of some of my children being enclosed by a stone wall by the congregation have this day given and granted by these presents do give and grant unto the trustees of the congregation of rocky river and their succesors in office all my right title and interest of in and to a certain piece or parcel of land situate lying and being in the county and state affore and near rocky river meeting house at present occupied and enclosed by a stone wall and used as a burying ground containing less than acre it being my intention to give the ground on which the wall stands and what so wall encloses unto the trustees and their succesors in office for the use and benefit of the congregation forever and the said Hector McCachron for himself and his heirs doth hereby covenant to and with the trustees and their succesors in office to warrant and forever defend the aforesaid premises and appurtenances whereunto belonging against the claim of all persons claiming through himself or his heirs unto the trustees and their successors in office for the use and benfit of the congregation forever.
