I have four of these men in my database as my relatives (numbers 11, 12, 13 and 37). If you can identify any of these men, please contact me, and I will add this info to the table. George Cagle was born on July 8, 1777 in Stanley County and died in May 1851 in 30 George Kegle, private Stanley County. He served in the NC Regiment of the War of 1812. His parents were George Cagle (ca.1745-Nov. 6, 1825) and Rebecca Cagle (ca. 1752-ca 1835). He was one of ten children. He was the son of Jacob Groner, Sr. and Elizabeth--------- (Probably Walter). He married 1st to Margaret Eagle 3-7-1805, daughter of George Eagle, Sr. and Mary Heilig.He and Mary had 47 Jacob Croner, private 6 known children (4 sons and 2 daughters). Jacob Groner, Jr. married 2nd to Catherine Dayvault, 4-18-1832. She was the daughter of Michael Dewalt and Margaret Walter. Jacob and Margaret had 1 daughter . He died ca 1835. Thanks Richard S.
