Two Interesting Delegates

A Mexican War veteran, Uncle Jimmie Brown, of Cabarrus, and a delegate to the 
State convention of fifty years ago, when Ellis was nominated for Governor and 
Mr. Laban Hoyle, of Lincoln, will attend the convention here next week, the 
one as a honorary delegate and the other as a regular delegate. These are 
interesting citizens, Mr. Brown took part in three wars, and is as gay and 
chipper as a lark, and Mr. Hoyle is one of the boys.
