The Landmark of Sept. 16, 1886
The 13-year-old daughter of MR. GEORGE MISENHEIMER of Cabarrus County was 
caught in the gearing of her father's cotton press last Friday and both of her 
hands were so mangled that they had to be amputated at the wrists.
