Mon., Sept. 29, 1806, Raleigh Minerva
   DIED, on the 13th in Cabarrus County, on a visit to the mother of her 
husband, MRS. MARGARET ALEXANDER, the amiable wife of GOV. NATHANIEL 
ALEXANDER, and sister of COL. WM. POLK of this City. MRS. ALEXANDER had for 
some years labored under a consumption of the lungs – a change in her disorder 
appearing which baffled the skill of her physician. She had left home lately 
to visit her mother-in-law, and to get the assistance of other physicians: she 
was worse on her arrival, and every effort to relieve her by medicine, 
appeared to aggravate the disease.
