Lowder Obit Sept. 25, 1955 Lowder Rites Set Local Woman’s Brother Died Funeral services for Cecil H. Lowder, 37, of Albemarle, brother of Mrs. Frank Cauble of Kannapolis, will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at Salem Methodist Church in Albemarle. Mr. Lowder was manager of Lowder Hardware in Albemarle and Lowder Supply Company of Thomasville. He was connected with the Lowder Milling Company. He was a son of the late Rowland Dathie Lowder and Rebecca Bowers Lowder of Stanly County. He was a 32nd degree member of the Albemarle Masonic Lodge. Services will be conducted by the Rev. E. L. Creech, assisted by the Rev. F.G. Stough. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. Other survivors are his wife, the former Miss Evelyn Green; one daughter, Rebecca of the home; two sons, Steve and Cecil Lowder Jr., both of Albemarle; stepmother, Mrs. R.D. Lowder of Albemarle; four brothers, W.A., W.C., D.P., and Ray D. Lowder, all of Albemarle; six sisters, Miss Ethel Lowder, Mrs. Lentz Russell, Mrs. Charlie Furr, Mrs. A.W. Hurlocker, all of Albemarle, Mrs. Frank Barbee of Concord and Mrs. Cauble of Kannapolis.
