John Freezlin [should this name be Freeze?] , found dead near Concord, NC on the
morning of 18 inst. [?April 1837?], inquest made and verdict was that the
deceased came to his death by intoxication; first published in the Western
Carolinian [issue date of Western Carolinian not given]; notice published 03 May
1837.

Additional Comments:
Some NC Deaths from the book “Genealogical Abstracts from Newspapers of the
German Reformed Church 1830-1839”, by Barbara Manning; extracts from the
newspaper The Weekly Messenger of the German Reformed Church, published in
Chambersburg, PA. “Notice” refers to the date of publication in The Weekly
Messenger of the German Reformed Church.  Added information by this submitter is
in brackets [  ].
