Aug  15., 1845           Charlotte Journal
   DIED, in Cabarrus County, on Wednesday, the 7th instant, JOHN JOHNSTON, 
ESQ., in the 73rd year of his age. 
   He spent the greater part of his life in Mecklenburg County, where he was, 
for many years, a Ruling Elder in the Church of Sugar Creek. He removed to the 
County of Cabarrus, where he llived to see a family of 14 children settled 
around him.
