Lowder Obit Sept. 17, 1980 J. D. Lowder John Daniel Lowder, 51, of 2519 West "C" Street, died at 12:26 p.m. Tuesday at Cabarrus Memorial Hospital following a sudden illness. Funeral Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Kimball Memorial Lutheran Church, of which he was a member. The Rev. David Keck and the Rev. Palmer Clemmer will officiate. Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park. The body will remain at Lady’s Funeral Home until taken to the church at the funeral hour. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 until 9 p.m. today. Memorials may be sent to the building fund of Kimball Memorial Lutheran Church. The son of R.M. Lowder of Kannapolis and the late Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Murray Lowder, he was a native of Cabarrus County, a veteran of the Korean Conflict and was employed by Cannon Mills Company in the No. 1 Weave Room. Surviving in addition to his father are his wife, Mrs. Jeanette Roseman Lowder; one daughter, Mrs. Debra Jean Farmer of Kannapolis; one son, Scott Lowder of Kannapolis; three brothers, Alvin Lowder of Kannapolis, Robert Lowder of Landis and James Lowder of Salisbury; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Payne and Mrs. Ruth Hammonds, both of Kannapolis.
