ESTHER PHIFER, relict of the much lamented MR. JOHN PHIFER, in the 62nd year of her age. In July last, she was called to part with one of the most lovely and affectionate daughters, and one of the most interesting and promising women -- who having been satisfactorally married, had just become a mother, and wholse infant fell into the hands of the grandmother. In October, following, three months after the death of her beloved LOUISA, she was called quite as unexpectedly to sunder the ties which had bound her for 40 years, to one of the tenderest and best of husbands. These bereavements adding greatly to the wasting effects of raising eight children and the constant care of a large family. Early in January, she was attached with a most violent, obstinate and complicated form of pneumonia. After a short respite, she was discovered to be speechless and entirely insensible, she neither heard, saw or spake no more. A fit of apoplexy, it is supposed, had been commissioned to terminate her troubles and sufferings. She sunk very gradually and died. She was, for many years, a consistent member of the Presbyterian Church at Rocky River.
