Sept. 28, 1838   Charlotte Journal
   DIED, in Concord, Cabarrus County, on the 17th inst., MR. DAVID STORKE, in 
the 39th yer of his age. The deceased was a son of the REV. CHARLES STORKE, so 
long and so entensively known for his learning and piety. He lived for a 
number of years at Concord engaged in the mercantile buisness, but for the 
last four or five years he had been a resident of Pontiac, in the State of 
Mississippi. -- W. Carolinian
