Cabarrus County, NC - Obituary of Lora M. Walter, 1958 Dec 19, 1958 Auburn WA Lora Walter, 85, Dies at Home Mrs. Lora M. Walter, 85, longtime Auburn resident and wife of Arthur R. Walter, died Friday at her home, 227 C. St. S.W., after an illness of three weeks. Mrs. Walter was born in Concord, N.C., December 3, 1873. She was married in Yakima in November of 1903, and came to Auburn, January 1, 1913. Mrs. Walter was a member of the White River Presbyterian Church and the Rebecca Circle of the Women's Organization of the church. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Donald B. Walter of Seattle; a sister, Mrs. Annie Sapp, Concord, N.C. two grandchildren and one great-grandson. Funeral services under the direction of the Price Chapel will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the White River Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Elden D. Unruh officiating. Burial will be in the Auburn Cemetery.
