Archey and Miss Kate Reed were married on last evening at the residence of the bride's father, Mr. Joel Reed in Concord by Rev. W.G. Campbell assisted by Dr. C.M. Payne. Many relatives and guests witnessed the interesting ceremony and participated in the pleasure of the evening, adding their most fervent wishes for the continued happiness of the popular and handsome couple. The attendants were: Mr. Frank Smith, Miss Lizzie Young, Mr. John Reed, Miss Fannie Fisher, Mr. Gowan Dusenberry, Miss Mary Reed, Mr. Robert Ridenhour, Miss Estella Adderton. The supper table was not excelled in Concord, being superb and elegant in every particular. Many and very handsome bridal presents were displayed in profusion. Among the most beautiful was a watch studded with diamonds, received by the bride from her father. Dr. and Mrs. Archey left on the train this morning for an extended northern tour.
