Davidson, of this city, is to be married at Pioneer Mills, Cabarrus County, at 2 o'clock this afternoon, to Miss Ella Barnhardt, daughter of Mr. Jno. A Barnhardt, a merchant and farmer, and one of the most prominent citizens of Cabarrus. The ceremony is to be performed by Rev. Frank Siler, pastor of Trinity Methodist Church, who will leave this morning with the groom and his friends, by private conveyance. The Charlotte party will consist of Messrs. J.W. Stinson, M.O. Query, Thos. R. Garrison, J.W. White, and S.R. Berryhill. After the ceremony the bridal party will return to Charlotte and expect to reach the city at 7 o'clock this evening. Mr. Davidson and his wife will live at Mr. Wolfe's, on East Trade street. Mr. Davidson has been living in Charlotte for about ten years, entering business here as a clerk for Mr. J.K. Wolfe, rising from clerk to partner in the firm of Davidson & Wolfe. He is a son of Mr. John W. Davidson, of Pleasant Valley, SC, and is a most deserving and popular young man.
