In the name of God Amen! Witnesseth I Hector McCachron of the county and state aforesaid being in ill health, but of sound mind and memory, and calling to mind the mortality of my body, and knowing that it is appointed for all men once to die, do make and ------- the following division of my land, between my three sons, to take effect and force on my decease. Division-the upper lot containing one hundred and thirty acres by comfirmation I will and bequeath to my son Peter R. McCahron with the reserves herein after times. The middle lot, I will and bequeath to my son John McCachron reserving one half of the meadow, now occupies with the hedge for to be attached to the lower together half which I design for lower ---- to be taken off the upper end of said meadow from or about opposite a pine tree on the east side of said with any reserve hereafter mentioned. The lower lot together with the reserve made in middle lot I will and bequeath to my son Dion C. McCachran subject to any reserve hereinafter mentioned. I will and bequeath that my beloved wife Elizabeth McCachron shall have a comfortable support during her natural life which I ordain shall be taken equally of the tree lots herein before mentioned. I also will and bequeath to my beloved wife Elizabeth McCahron the horse called ? with saddle and bridle and I also will and bequeath to her all the household and kitchen furniture together with my bedding. Except one bed which I allow for my son Dion C. McCachron. I will and ordain that my daughter Mary shall receive forty dollars which shall be paid equally by my three sons and allow the same amount to my daughter Terrissa to be paid in the same manner. I will and bequeath to my wife Elizabeth McCachron one milk cow the choice of my stock of cattle. I further will and bequeath to my son Dion C. McCachron, all my cows, cotton, wheat, with my foader, hay, oats, and all my stock of cattle, sheep, hogs, and horses not otherwise herein disposed of and my watch. I further ordain that my clock remain in the house to be the property of my wife while she lives and then at her death to be the property of Dion C. McCachron. I further will and ordain that my three sons shall have and hold an equal interest in my wagon until each or either of them may see proper to transfer their interst. I further ordain that so doing as my daughter Dorcas remains single she shall have a comfortable maintenance with and among her three brothers. I further ordain that it shall be the duty of my John McCachron to pay the balance of a note due to John Phifer before he can be entitled to the division which I have herein before allotted to him. Know all men by these presents that I Hector McCachron have this 7th day of October in the year of our Lord 1834 constituted and ordained my sons Peter McCachern, and Dion C. McCachron the lawful executors of this my last will and testament. And I say let it be so as herein directed in witness whereof I now set my hand and seal on the day in in the year above mentioned in presence of this witness.
