I John McCachran of the county and state aforesaid being very low in health but of sound mind and memory and calling to mind the mortality of my body do hereby constitute and ordain Walter F. Pharr my true and lawful executor and do authorize him to take into his hands all my ? real and personal at my death to be disposed of in the mode and manner hereinafter described. 1st: I ordain that my beloved wife Jane have one third part of my land as a life estate so long as she remains single. If she wishes to remain on it. 2nd. I will and bequeath to her my large white faced milk cow togeather with all the articles of household furniture that she received from her parents and all the kitchen furniture together with my flock of geese. 3rd I will and bequeath to my two little children one heffer and the milk cow which I bought at my father's sale for the benefit of my family in raising my children. I will to my two children Elizabeth Jane and John C. McCachran each one a bed and furniture. RE I ordain that all my lawful contracts by my executor be complied with. 4th I hereby authorise my executor as to rent or lease my lands from time to time unto my children come of age in such mode or manner as he may think will be fore the best interest of my children. 5th I herby authorise my executor to petition court for a division of my dead brother's lot of land the division when obtained to be used by my executor in the same way as my other land for the use and benefit of my family. 6th I ordain that all my property not disposed of in this instrument be sold at publick sale except --- and pigs which I will to my wife her choice of my stock of hogs and my cotton which is at the gin which I allow to be sent to market and sold. I also will to my wife one ? of bees. Her choice of my bees.
